Horizontal Carousels can do the most actions of any storage systems available on the market per hour and day. This system brings files or products in the material handling industry to an end user in the front of the system eliminating the need for aisles. Horizontal Carousels are usually set up in pods of 3 where an end user works in a line in front of the 3 carousels picking in high activity areas. Software can be used to generate pick lists with light trees in between the pods of carousels indicating where an end user needs to grab a file or part. These systems can also be double stacked to use the vertical height in facilities.
