Rotary
Files come in legal and letter size depths and
from 2 tiers to 8. Rotary Files are composed of
shelving on a rotating base inside of a cabinet.
Rotary Files can be configured to store many different

Rotary
File Design Considerations
Rotary
Files need to be designed with a minimum of 5-7/8"
clearance behind letter size units and 7-1/8"
for legal size units to allow the system to rotate
properly. Rotary Files are available in starter
and adder configurations with dimensions listed
in the chart below. All Rotary Files offer a lock
as standard and have optional additional locks
available for advanced security requirements.
Rotary
Files are commonly used in medical practices for

binder storage applications.
